React Native is your Key to the Mobile App Market

It's no surprise that mobile devices are the most popular platform for accessing the Web. Mobile apps, therefore, represent a key avenue to access your audience and potential customers. Thanks to the React Native framework, it's faster and more affordable than ever to build cross-platform mobile apps that are beautiful and easy to use.

The React Native framework is very popular with mobile app developers and is also used by many top online brands such as Facebook, Tesla, Instagram, Airbnb, Skype, Walmart, Adidas Glitch, and more.

Save Time + Money

Using traditional codebases, you'd have to pay to develop two versions of your app: one for Android, and one for iOS. But with React Native, that's not the case. I build it once, and boom -- you have two apps for the price of one.

Great Performance

React Native architecture is very well tuned to mobile devices. It makes use of the GPU (Graphics Processing Unit), while native platforms are more ‘CPU intensive’. This makes React Native superfast.

Increased Flexibility

If it is desired or becomes necessary to move the app to another development framework in the future, app developers don’t need to start over. It can be ported into another platform, making it super flexible.

Augment An Existing App

Got an existing app but want to augment it in a cost effective way? I can insert React Native UI components into an existing app without rewriting it, saving you time and money!

Publish Updates Faster

Publishing updates for your app used to take a lot longer, requiring developers to go through a build process again with each app separately. With React Native that process has been streamlined.

Future-forward Functionality

As an open source framework, updates regularly bring extra functionalities to the table and improve the existing ones. This includes awesome third-party integrations, like Stripe.

Transparent Pricing

I don't believe in dancing around the nitty-gritty. Here is exactly how I charge out for my work:

Hourly Rate

For small tasks or projects, it is faster and easier to hire me by the hour. It is my practice to always give my best estimate, based on my experience, of the alloted time your request will take so you can have a ballpark idea of the cost before I proceed.

Fixed Scope of Work

Starting at $12,500

As much as I would love to be able to give an accurate all-inclusive figure for app development, I can only provide a ballpark until some key factors and questions have been answered. It is a ‘How long is a piece of string?' sort of question, as it is determined by many factors that collectively influence the final figure. Here are the primary considerations:

  • App discovery and designing – what an app will look like based on a business use case
  • App purpose and complexity – what an app will actually be capable of doing and the logic behind it
  • Features and functionality – will the app be using location services, push notifications, in-app purchases, etc.
  • Revenue Generation – will there be in-app ads, in-app purchases, paid app after trial period, subscription model, etc.
  • Maintenance plan and continuous improvements – once an app development project is over, it will still require technical support and software updates

Thus far in my experience, the development of a very basic app (e.g. a few user inputs and a simple calculation engine) may take 250 hours at the very low end. At my development rate of $50/hour, this equals a project cost of $12,500 before tax.
